Our Story
Setting off in Fall 2025, UWindsor Writing Society is an online blog-centered club which emphasizes creative writing as a source of connection, discovery, and learning with oneself and the subject under study; this club strives to create a space where writers can explore and hone their writing voice to create a personal portfolio showcasing what is truly special to them.
This blog welcomes creative works of all forms, dimensions, and in all stages of development - from carefully crafted narratives to initial storyboarding drafts, whether it is a poem hastily written after a long day or a list of ideas you have always held deep within your heart - we want to hear it all. Based at the University of Windsor, this blog serves as a space for you to create, share, and discover amazing pieces from a close community of writers, while being supported by a sense of unity, appreciation, and wonder at just how powerful writing can be.
Starting Up
How do I join Writing Society?
To join as a general member, please fill out the “General Member Sign-Up” form.
To create a profile on our blog, please fill out the “Profile Registration for Blog" form.
Follow our Instagram and join our Discord server (this will be our main site of communication).
How do I post my writing?
Our team will upload your posts for you onto the blog. Please submit your posts through the “Blog Posts Submissions” form. All of your posts will be located under your profile page, and will also be found under the shared Blog webpage.
